I've never tried it. (We're talking about the gingerale, right?)

YES. It is apparently a much rarer commodity than I had realized, since half of the people in the staff house gave me a total BZUH?-face when I was rejoicing over having it.

I see diet Vernon's much more often than regular, and since I have no interest in diet soda, have never tried it.

ISN'T IT? I am actually kind of reassured to know that it is from Michigan, because otherwise I would have no real reason for my EPIC LOLDEFENSIVENESS of it. AWESOME THINGS COME FROM THE MITTEN STATE, is clearly the conclusion.

I don't drink pop much anymore, but I used to crave that stuff, solely because I couldn't get it in southern Indiana where I was in college. Thought it was just a Michigan thing but I just saw some in Northern VA. And there was much rejoicing.

See, I've pretty much never been a real pop-drinker, but Vernors (and other ginger ales, but primarily Vernors) is my one big exception. Om nom nom ginger!

I'd never really thought about it as being a regional thing, but then my boss called me from the grocery store all "we need a food that starts with V, and we can't find any! but there's this weird drink called...vernon's?" And there was much debate, and a staff-wide Vernors-tasting. Like you do.
